Insurance

Comprehensive insurance, third-party cover, VAT and unlimited mileage are included in every daily rate.

A refundable excess of K5,000 applies to self-drive hires and is released within 5 working days of the vehicle's return.

Licence & age

Minimum age 23 for economy and SUV classes, 25 for executive and 4x4 safari vehicles.

A valid driver's licence held for at least 2 years, presented with a passport or NRC at collection.

Rental terms

Plain terms, agreed at collection. Nothing hidden in the small print.

Rates and mileage
Daily rates are quoted in Kwacha and include unlimited mileage, comprehensive insurance, VAT and 24/7 roadside assistance. Weekly hires of 7 days or more receive 15% off the base rate.
Fuel policy
Vehicles are supplied with a full tank and should be returned full. Missing fuel is charged at the pump price plus a K100 refuelling service fee.
Deposit
A refundable security deposit is held against the vehicle for the duration of the hire and released within 5 working days of return, subject to a condition check.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup. Cancellations inside 2 hours forfeit one day's rental. No payment is taken online.
Cross-border travel
Travel into Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia or Malawi requires written approval and a cross-border letter issued at least 5 working days before departure.
Return condition
Vehicles are returned clean, with all keys, spare wheel and accessories. A K250 valet charge applies to vehicles returned heavily soiled.
